We're excited to invite everyone to join us on January 19, 2024, from 7-9pm for an evening filled with breathtaking performances and memorable experiences.

At the core of the HKU Music Festival is our commitment to fostering engagement, responsibility, and collaboration among HKU students. This festival offers a unique opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and musical abilities. We encourage you to come and experience the incredible talent on display from our HKU student body. The festival will feature performances by our awarded students, both as individuals and teams, showcasing their exceptional original works.

Don't miss our special guest, Yoyo Sham, a producer and singer-songwriter in Hong Kong and Taiwan. In 2019, her album "Nothing is Under Control" was nominated for the Best Mandarin Female Singer and Best Producer at the Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan. Her Cantonese work "Come What May" was recommended as the 8th in the Top 10 of the 2021 Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation. In 2022, she released the EP "Home is..." and held four concerts with the same name at Star Hall. She was awarded the Best Female Singer Performance Award at the 20th CASH Golden Sail Music Awards for "Come What May".

None of this would be possible without the generosity of Mr. John Lau, whose donation has made the HKU Music Festival a reality. Through his support, we will provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and foster their passion for creativity for years to come!

Mark your calendar for January 19, 2024, from 7-9pm, and come experience the music firsthand.
